An ongoing collaboration uniting technique, vision, and digital excellence

Our collaboration with MS Design & Architecture stands as one of the most meaningful projects within our studio—not only due to the scale and ambition of the work, but also because of the deep connection Rafael Trassart maintains with architecture as both a technical and artistic form of expression.

Led by the renowned architect Marcos Sainz, the studio boasts an extensive legacy of projects, international collaborations, and high-value documentation, including the co-creation of Puerto Banus alongside Noldi Schereck. Their portfolio spans over 50 years and 300 projects worldwide, yet their digital presence was outdated: a website built in custom HTML on an old WordPress version, lacking modern support and a security certificate.

Context and Initial Challenge

The original site, dated back to 2013, had received no significant updates. Its structure lacked logical order, projects were fragmented, and the design no longer reflected the studio’s contemporary vision or global expertise.

Our task involved not only redesigning the website, but digitally remastering all publications, including books, portfolios, and technical documentation, while renovating their online image, and crafting coherent stories across all platforms.

Trassart’s Contribution

At Trassart, we approached the project with a holistic vision:

  • Creation of a clear, hierarchical website architecture available at msd-arquitectos.com for intuitive navigation and live project exploration.

  • Development of a refined editorial design, inspired by architectural publications and international technical portfolios.

  • Digital remastering of all studio publications, including books and catalogs, creating an accessible archive of 50+ years of work.

  • Redesign of the studio logo, biography, links, and complete digital identity, ensuring a coherent and modern brand presence.

  • Creation of the studio motto: “Crafting Dream Architecture Since 1971”, encapsulating their philosophy and legacy.

  • Implementation of an updated WordPress platform, multilingual structure, SSL certification, and optimized performance.

  • Classification and cataloging of over 300 projects worldwide by category, typology, and geography, making the portfolio fully searchable and live online.

  • Social media overhaul: crafting Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and other accounts with consistent visual identity, color palette, and iconography.

  • Creation of campaigns, reels, and hashtags to engage new audiences, while presenting the studio’s expertise in a contemporary, approachable format.

  • Storytelling across all platforms, ensuring coherent narratives that reflect the studio’s history, aesthetics, and technical rigor.

Digital Strategy & Research

This project is more than a digital update—it is a comprehensive research and archival project:

  • All historical projects carefully cataloged, digitized, and contextualized online.

  • Live exploration of the studio’s body of work, enabling professional audiences to navigate decades of architectural achievements.

  • SEO, web performance, and cross-platform integration to enhance visibility and global positioning.

  • Continuous content creation for social media campaigns, including photography, video reels, and interactive posts aligned with the studio’s identity.

An Ongoing and Purposeful Collaboration

Working alongside Marcos Sainz and his team has been profoundly enriching. This collaboration merges technical expertise with aesthetic sensitivity, allowing us to transform a legacy of excellence into a fully integrated digital presence, while documenting and celebrating 50+ years of architectural achievements.

MS Design & Architecture is now presented as a unified name online, with a coherent identity, live project access, revitalized narratives, social media presence, campaigns, and their signature motto — “Crafting Dream Architecture Since 1971”.
